When how you look matters (and there's always a prize for best-dressed) who better to have up your perfect-length sleeve than professional image consultant Diana Kilgour. In the twenty-four years that Diana has had her own consulting firm, she has become established as a supportive advisor to hundreds of people from CEO's to job-seekers, from entertainers to active moms, from busy executives to retired couples preparing for a cruise vacation. She has coloured, styled, dressed, organized and polished more people for success than anyone in Western Canada.
Diana got her start by meeting several brilliant mentors in 1980 who trained her and allowed her to watch and work alongside them. Delah McKay from Los Angeles, an internationally known designer and stylist was the first and was soon followed by Kelsey Sears in Honolulu, a color consultant, speech therapist and advisor to Miss America contestants. In between learning from them, Diana studied three different methods of doing colour analysis.
The most valuable training came from Robert Pante, well-known American author of "Dressing to Win, How to Have More Money, Romance and Power".
He trained Diana as a personal shopper in San Francisco's finest stores and she produced eight of his all day seminars in Vancouver. In each of these intensive seminars, fifty adventuresome men and women were critiqued in three different outfits, and given transformational new direction. "Invaluable training", says Diana, "the kind that money can't buy."
Diana has shopped in many Vancouver stores with her private clients for two decades. As a personal shopper, Diana is skilled at surveying a vast field of choices and spotting the pieces that really deliver in satisfaction, practicality, and style. Diana has a great eye for the subtle differences that make each person unique and uses those clues to create a distinctive style statement. She knows that every characteristic of a garment or accessory counts: the colour, silhouette, texture, pattern, and scale.
However you want to look - more appealing, more successful, more casual, more fun - Diana can help you get there. Whether your needs are corporate or casual, using Diana's insight and savvy will enhance your wardrobe, save countless hours and guarantee that you'll be beautifully prepared for every opportunity life sends your way.
